What a blockbuster of a match scheduled for the first game of NBA Cup action tonight. The undefeated Cleveland Cavaliers travel to the TD Garden to take on the defending NBA Champion Boston Celtics

These are the best two teams in the Association with a combined 26-3 record, and it is an NBA Cupa group game! Mercy, what energy will be brought? Is this the first time the Cavaliers lose this season? Is the winner of this game the winner of East Group C?

So many questions building up to this match and luckily it is the first of the night. 7:00 PM ET tip-off, so eat dinner early and grab the popcorn, this is going to be a memorable game.

Cleveland Cavaliers: Fast Car

Cleveland is home to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame, and some songs never go out of style. Tracy Chapman is from Cleveland and her song Fast Car has transcended generations and has been on the top, back down, and back on top again.

Something that never goes out of style in the NBA is winning, and the Cavaliers have been doing that for a great deal of this decade. Not many expected them to be the best team in the Association after 4 weeks, but here they are.

They too have come back from losing LeBron… twice. The Larry O’Brien is realistically in the eye of the Cavalier franchise and their fans this season. But first a chance to win the Emirates NBA Cup, which would be a nice compliment to the 2016 championship.

Boston Celtics: The Warrior's Code

Boston is currently in possession of the Larry O’Brien trophy, and they have zero plans of letting it go. However, they also have an opportunity to hoist the Emirates NBA Cup Trophy along with Larry O’Brien. An honor very few teams will have an opportunity to accomplish.

The Celtics will be the toughest test the Cavaliers have seen this season, and are predicted to  give them their first loss of the season. The spread is at 5 points in favor of Boston, and the moneyline is just under -200 on most sportsbooks. Boston can raise their game to any level, and they are the top dogs of the NBA.

Cavaliers vs. Celtics Predictions & Picks Today: Tuesday, 11/19

Cavaliers vs. Celtics Prediction: Total Over 229.5 (-110 on Caesar Sportsbook)

This is going to be an intense and high scoring game. Cleveland averages 123.7 points per game, and Boston averages 121.6 points per game. That alone is 245.3 points, and the line is set at 229.5?!?!?! Something is not adding up.

This is what we do at Fantasy Alarm though, scour the lines for the best bets, and this is one of them. They could score 10 less than their combined average and still clear this line by 6 points.

Neither team is concerned about defense either, this is the highest point total of the day. And for good reason, it is going to go over the point totals of other games. Each team is going to shine offensively in what will likely be the best NBA Cup game of the day.
