Ducks vs. Maple Leafs Prediction: Thursday, December 12th

Wash, rinse and repeat on the Ducks today as they showed us who they were last night in betting and it’s time to hop on the train again!

Anaheim is not as bad of a team overall as I expected this season, but their total defense is severely lacking in many categories, most of all shots against per game. On the road this season the Ducks are allowing a whopping 34.9 shots per game, the 2nd most in the NHL and seeing as that trend is holding firm it gives way to a pair of props.

The first is Lukas Dostal to go over on his saves tonight. The second prop is taking the over on William Nylander shots tonight. Nylander leads the Maple Leafs in shots with 95 shots this season. His number is juiced up to 3.5 for shots but I am willing to make the risk given the matchup!

Oilers vs. Wild Prediction: Thursday, December 12th

This matchup is sure to be a fun one as we get two of the best teams in the NHL right now as the Wild and Oilers have been hot in the month of December thus far with each team having won 7 of their last 10 games! Somebody is going to have to take the loss tonight though, and I have a wager backing the road team!

The Oilers since everyone got healthy in November are rolling through teams and have taken a balanced approach in the process. They are giving up just 2.86 goals per game and are digging themselves out of an early season hole on offense and are up to 3 goals per game now!

The goaltending has also improved as Stuart Skinner is now 10-7-2 on the season with a 2.81 GAA. The Wild will keep things close, but they are a much better road team than at home this season so give me the Oilers to take this one tonight.
